This notice explains what happens to the details you give us on talkasiagroup.com. It covers this website only: each of our brands has its own website and its own privacy policy.
Who we are
This website is run by TalkAsia Group, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form:
- your name and e-mail address;
- the topic, subject and message you write, and the brand it is about;
- any files you attach (pictures or PDF documents);
- the address of the page you sent it from.
When you leave the e-mail field, the address is sent to our support desk to check that it can receive mail. Please do not put medical records or other sensitive personal details in your message.
Why we use it
To read your message, reply to you and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell them.
Where it goes
The form sends your message to the support desk of TalkHealthAsia, one of our brands, at talkhealthasia.com. It is saved there as a support ticket, and our team replies to you by e-mail.
The robot check
When you open the contact form, a check by Cloudflare (Turnstile) loads to keep out automated spam. To do this Cloudflare processes technical details such as your IP address and browser, under its own privacy policy. Nothing from Cloudflare loads until you open the form.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and pictures come from this website, not from outside services. While your browser tab is open, the form remembers which e-mail addresses have already been checked so it does not check them twice; this is forgotten when you close the tab.
Website logs
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep short technical logs (such as the IP address, time and page requested) to run the site and protect it from abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep your message only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and keep a record of it.
Your rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it. Send your request through and we will reply. Sending us your details is your choice, but we cannot reply without an e-mail address.
